I’m currently student at Edgewood College studying CIS ( Computer
Information Systems ). This major made me quit my job. After years of experience
in Networking, I decided to be IT manager who has knowledge of everything, or
at least as many as I can. I had two years diploma in Networking and some certificates
from Microsoft like, MCSE and upgraded it in 2009 to MCITP, A+, N+, I also
planning to get CISSP. I learned that college life is different from real life.
For example, when I started my job I thought I can fix everything I had studied
but I found what I learned at schools were just a driblet of sea. Then I wanted
to understand other operation systems because I was planning to have Hosting and
design website. Since then I’m Linux user since 2003. I started using Linux
with Red Hat v.3 then became a Debian fan since it was useful than RPM as end-user.
Now I’m using Linux Mint which based on Ubuntu ( Debian ) and I suggest to
everyone to give it try.
